I used a Cake Mix Doctor recipe for Petit fours and the cake is way too fluffy. When I pour the icing over the cake it just collapses from the weight of the icing. What cake recipe do you guys use? thanks

Pound cake works very well for petit fours. In a pinch, you can even buy it ready-made from the store, although made from scratch tastes better.
