I am going to try making the white almond sour cream cake, and am unsure of what type of filling to use with it. Any ideas or suggestions would be GREAT! Also I accidentally bought light sour cream do think the recipe would do ok?

Light SC should be OK. You can use any filling you like, jams, curd, or your buttercream mixed with jam. If you are testing the cake for flavor, you may want to keep the filling very plain, so it won't interfere with your taste test.
