I am making a Flag birthday cake but have never made this type of cake before..Anyone out there have any suggestions for me? I am just a beginner at this so any advice is welcome, please~ Thanks~! icon_biggrin.gif

Find a downloadable image of the flag that you like and do a BCT of it. You can't go wrong that way!

If you go to the galleries you can search for flags. Pictures of cakes with flags will show up.

What is the flag going to look like? If you want to cut a flag out of a sheet cake...

You could even add a "pole" to this if you wanted by inserting a dowel.
