I got this done thanks to all the tips and encouragement from you guys!
It is a marble 1/2 sheet and the car is funfetti. This was SOOO much fun!! I can't wait until the next one. My husband had me bring the picture to his work so he could show it off (He's already wanting to build me a kitchen in the basement!! ) and I got a few people who took my number for birthday cakes and one girl wants me to do her wedding cake next December!! I am so excited and I've only taken two classes so far! My third one is tonight.

Did you have a pan for the car or did you carve that? Very good job for your 2nd cake - And let me tell you word of mouth is incredible. I started the same way, and now I am getting cake orders all the time. So good luck, you obviously have the talent. Yeah.

They were hard plastic toys that my SIL brought me to use on the cake.

what is the ground/road made from?

crushed oreos. It was suposed to look like a road, but ended up looking like they were stuck in the dirt!

I lvie in Australia so I dont really know much about Oreos - but arent dont they have a vanilla cream between the two cookies. Do you crush it up all together or jsut scrape it off?

I scraped it off....every....single....cookie, LOL. I think that took the longest out of the whole dang thing!

Great job with the cake...and the grass is fun, it really makes the cake
