I can not remember who made this cake here on cc. I saved it a long time ago. This is awesome and I look forward to attempting it.

I absolutely love those wash tub cakes with the bubbles etc. They are just way too cute and would totally fit with the theme.

thank you so much for the tips. i believe i am going to go with a version of the bathtub cakes they are sooo cute. i still have a week to come up with the design so if any one else has pics that would be great. I am going to stick with a sheet cake to get more servings--Lg shower. icon_smile.gif

I would do a washtub on top of a sheet cake. That way if they want to keep the washtub part they can.

I did a duck theme for a friends showers a couple of years ago. For the center pieces on the tables I make duck cookies on a stick and put them in little tin buckets with marshmallows for bubbles. Turned out really cute.

hello, I did the 3-D cake and cupcakes with duck candy melts on them, I love doing cupcakes, they are quick and easy, and I put a fountain under it with rubber duckies floating in the fountain. The picture is in my gallery, I don't know how to attach it.

i just did one this weekend with the same plates...though mine was not so matchy-matchy cause they wanted chocolate and i didnt have the plate in front of me.

but you know one that would match perfectly is the cupcakes made by elisa straus in her new book, confetti cakes- they are cupcakes covered in a cirlcle of blue fondant, with small white fondant dots and a yellow ducky molded out of fondant. so perfect!!! if i can find a photo link, i will post it, or pm me if you want and i can take a picture from her book and get it to you.

I know you already picked a theme, but I wanted to share my cake. I made this for my nephew's 1st birthday, but I think it would be perfect for a shower. I would like to make it again sometime!
