Sand?

how do I "glue" the sand to the fondant to look like a beach, i've never done it before, and i'm doing it for friday... Thank u gabby

I would just brush it lightly with piping gel and then adhere the brown sugar or whatever it is you're using. Just don't use too much because after a while the piping gel can start to break down the fondant.......this should be done as close to the party as possible.

piping gel, left clear or tinted to a complimentary color.

spread on, smoosh sand into it.

thank u ! but could i spread a bit of buttercream where the sand is going, the other day i was talking with my husband about making a cake with a bit of piping gel, u should've seen his face ! he hated the idea, and the cake is for him, for his birthday, could it be possible or it would show too much?

if you smoosh enough of the "sand" into the icing it probably will be just fine.

I would tint the icing tan like the sand and you'll be just fine!
