Hi!!

If you watch Ace of Cakes, I'm sure you'll know what I'm talking about.... icon_lol.gif

On Duff's cakes, he usually adds the wire jewel ornaments and I absolutely love them, but I can't seem to find them anywhere icon_cry.gif

Does anyone know what kind of wire is used? Where can I get it (store, website, etc.)? Does it come already shaped?

Any information you can provide on this "mystery wire" would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks and Happy Cake Decorating!!!!

What I've learned is that you can use just basic floral wire from Michaels and melt candy melts and coat the end of the wire in candy before putting it in the cake. I have also heard of covering the end in saran wrap which I have actually tried but did not like. Or you can cover the end in fondant. I really like the candy melt idea because it wont slip off. Hope that helps
