This is a poor snap shot of my first fondant cake 3 yrs ago for my sisters wedding. I have a request for it again and I am charging $200 with the fresh flowers for a work friend--will be doing the top 4 layers (about 157 servings). Is that a fair price? Thanks for any input. Margery

I think you are way low, but it depends on the prices in your area...my prices START at $2/serving for buttercream and $3/serving for fondant wedding cakes. The flowers would be extra and I would charge a deposit on the cake stands. My price includes delivery and set-up within a 30 miile radius.

Thanks Beckalita--I knew I was giving her a discount, which is ok since I'm not a pro--work referrals etc. She just emailed me and thought the 200 was with the 100 deductible (jeez!) She will be picking up the cake though and taking it to Los Angeles (that's worth a discount there alone icon_lol.gif ). Thanks for the reassurance--I'll stand firm with that b/c I don't have a wholesale flower connection, just costco. Thanks very much for the pricing info.
