they make maple i haven't seen it & i'd like to try it--i have raspberry but i haven't tried it yet, sorry i couldn't help
I've seen these flavors at my grocery store too and I was wondering the same thing! I was thinking of buying them so if no one has tried them yet than i'll try em. I've also seen French Vanilla, Banana, Strawberry, ?Anise? (anyone know what this is?), and Cherry... Anyone try these too?
I've used both the raspberry and the strawberry to flavor buttercream, just replacing the vanilla in the same amount and both came out great!
Michele
FYI anise is licorice flavor. I've used many of the McCormick flavors, but all in cake mixes. I've not tried icing. Sounds good though!
Anise is licorice (yuck). I've discovered the Magic Line brand of flavorings and really like them.
Mc's French Vanilla is all i've been using (&butter extract) in my buttercream & i got ALOT of good comments
I have used the butter, almond, banana & vanilla in buttercream. Banana is good on a chocolate cake. The others seem to loose their flavor quickly as the icing sets, especially the almond.
