I made a white cake with Pralines and Creme creamer. It was a little strong so next time I will decrease the amount I added. BUT, let me tell you....it was great! My husband had a different opinion...but he always does. He said it tasted like pancakes. Anyway, I made a caramel filling and added roasted pecans. I iced it in a whipped cream cheese frosting I made. I will now be checking out ALL the flavors. It is wonderful to have a community of people like this sharing their talents and ideas! Thank you guys and gals! I will try to post pics.

Yummmmmmmm
Can I have a piece??
It looks soooo good!
I have never tried the flavored creamers in my buttercream before, but there is always the first try. Now I want to try!

try them for sure, you won't be upset! I found it and love it.. I added the chocolate caramel from International delights to my chocolate cakes! The creme brulee is AMAZING in a white cake mix!

I added the creamer to the cake batter. It was so strong while baking, I decide not to add it to the filling or frosting. The entire place was smelling high!

I initially replaced the water in my recipe but it made my cake dry! So now I add 1/3 cup of creme brulee to mine... I have the pralines one and haven't used it, might add less if it is over powering!

I use creamers for just about anything that calls for any kind of liquid...
Cakes, frostings, cookies, brownies, etc....
I made brownies once & added the pumpkin spice creamer, they smelt & tasted to die for!!!!

I tried the Southern Butter Pecan creamer in the Butter Pecan cake mix by Betty Crocker and it was great with a crusting cream cheese buttercream icing. I used 1/2 cup water and 1/2 cup of the creamer.

We added white chocolate raspberry creamer to the white cake yesterday -- the mix called for 1 1/3 Cups water, we used 1 Cup water, 1/3 Cup liquid creamer. Flavor was awesome, cake was a little denser than normal but very very tasty anyway! icon_biggrin.gif

Does the coffee creamer get rid of the cake mix taste...you know the chemically kinda after taste? This is what I find my customers really don't like about doctored recipes....When I tried the WASC at my taste test hardly any1 liked it and the main complaint was the cake mix taste.

Hmmmm, I've never heard of that, cake mix taste. Everytime I've ever made the WASC it was a big hit. What kind of mix are you using?

I tried it with Betty Crocker and then With Duncan Hines. It mite be you are used to eating mixes so u don't taste it but since I bake from scratch they can taste the mixes. They picked which cakes were mixes everytime.

I took some of the cake to my Dad to taste. He is a traditional "fuddy duddy" and only likes out of the box chocolate cake with yellow layers....Well, guess I showed him....HE LOVED IT!
