I have a bunch of leftover cookies that I made for an event. How should I go about freezing them? What should I put them in and should I put cookies in seperate containers.

If you have an airtight box, like Tupperware or rubbermaid, layer them with waxed paper or parchment and put them in the freezer.

If they are frosted, you will want to keep them separated by waxed paper, but you can also put them in zip=lock bag and inside another bag, and freeze away. Just thaw them on the counter. If they have decorated icing, you can take the frozen cookies and lay them out on a baking sheet to prevent condensation from messing up the icing.

Would this be for any type of cookie? I was wondering the same thing because I made some Chocolate chip, peanut butter, and M&M cookies and I wanted to freeze some but I wasn't sure if they would be ok when defrosted.

Please let me know

Thanks
Jackie
