Can gum paste be attached too soon to a cake iced in BC? My daughter's party is Saturday, and I want to decorate the cakes tomorrow (Friday), but I don't know if attaching the gum paste bow and accents on Friday would cause them to soften and droop/break after sitting on BC for a day? Anyone have experience with this?

If your gumpaste bow is completely dry on both sides it will not absorb or soften when it comes in contact with the buttercream.
