hi, i'm just starting out and could use a little help...where can i get cake pans at a good price? i'm looking to invest in square pans maybe a 12" and a 10". i looked on e-bay and they are mostly character pans.
also what brand of pan do you find works best?

The brand most recommended is Magic Line. I absolutely love mine. My cakes bake even and turn out perfect everytime I use them.

i just ordered some magic line pans from www.countrykitchensa.com and i love them! CK has really good prices and fast shipping. thats what i would go with!

I just read the shipping info at countrykitchensa.com and they will ship out of the US but will just need additional credit card info.

I also bought Magic Line - believe it or not, my local cake shop sells them cheaper than any place I have found on the net.

That is too funny, it's the opposite for me. My local cake shop sells them for WAY more than online. Even with shipping. I was looking for a 14" square and they wanted almost $50 for it. icon_eek.gificon_eek.gif Needless to say I am getting them online. Most of their stuff is much more expensive than anywhere esle. I guess that means I better make sure I plan ahead. icon_biggrin.gificon_biggrin.gif LOL
