Hello. I am making a white chocolate cake for this weekend and I went to look at my recipe and realized that I did not have any fat (oil or butter) listed on my recipe. The recipe consist of pudding, cake mix, 1 3/4 cup milk, eggs and white chocolate. Could someone please tell me if this sounds like this recipe would work, or if I forgot to type up the butter/oil. I think I forgot, but want others opinions. Also, if you have this recipe it would be great to know how much butter/oil to add to it.
Thank you in advance.

Can't help but I'll give you a bump. I'd love to have the recipe for white chocolate cake.
I am actually looking for a white chocolate cake recipe. I have the onve from the Cake Mix Doctor and I'm going to omit the lemon zest and lemon juice. It calls for 6oz white chocolate melted (I'm going to use shavings instead...saw that in Dede Wilson's book), 1 white cake mix, 2/3 Cup water, 1/3 Cup Vegetable oil, 3 large eggs, and 2 large egg whites. Hope this helps a bit.
I have not tried baking this yet, but here is the recipe that I have:
3 (1 ounce) squares white chocolate, chopped
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups white sugar
2 1/4 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 2/3 cups heavy cream
3 eggs
1 teaspoon almond extract
HTH!!
Thank you everyone. I am going to try these recipes.
Right now, I do not care if it is from scratch or a doctored one. I just want a good white chocolate cake recipe, where you can taste the chocolate.....
Thanks again.
Thea
