Hi - does anyone know where can I find a free software or free online maker where I can type my recipe and print it out on the 4x6 card? I've Googled it, but no luck.

It's 20 bucks for the program but you can click on the pic of the recipe card you like and then save the photo and add your text to it and print for free!!

I love this forum...

Here's another site you probably already saw. I simply googled the words free recipe cards...

You have to "sift" to find the real free ones.

to add a twist to this thead icon_biggrin.gif

I gave up recipe cards, as they were always getting buttercream and such all over them! haha!

What I have now is a notebook, where I have placed those plastic covered sleeves, and put my recipes in the sleeve. (just bring them out from word, etc) This way I can wipe the sleeve down if I get it dirty and they are protected.

Just thought I would thow that in!

I too have the same type of notebook. And there are at least 3,000 recipe in my scanner. The recipe cards are great though if you give food gifts. Who knows it might encourage baking.

Our local real estate agent gets postcards with recipes on them to send out when he sells a house/advertisement. I was thinking of doing that as a mailer, with something like And call us for desert!

But thats a great idea to make your own index cards and give as gifts...
