O.k the wedding is today.. My wedding ... I made the cakes (14, 10, 6).
They are going to be stacked. Fondant covers them...but the Fondant just isn't sticking to the cake. Is this going to look awful when they cut it and serve it? I am sooo worried.. but I guess it's too late to be worried..
Also They are double layers (meaning I made two of each cake size and frosted them together) and I am confused about how many this will serve. Thank you for the help!

It will serve 100 to 116 without the top layer. If you frosted the cakes and the icing is totally dry the fondant won't stick. You need to put a little fresh frosting on or take a damp knife and run it along the frosting. Don't make it wet or drippy, but a tiny bit damp so the fondant will stick. Good luck!

14,10, 6 should serve =/- 127 people if you are slicing it 1x2. the only reason why i can think that it wouldnt be sticking is that you did put bc or something under neath it.

I put BC on all the cakes... A crumb coat.. Then I thought I put enough on right before I put the MMF on.. But I guess it was patchy..Hopefully the flowers will cover up any huge mistakes! icon_lol.gif Think I can ask the cake cutting people to just not serve the outside pieces?

I really dont think i would worry about it after it is cut. You wont be able to see mistakes in small pieces that are served.
