So I know they aren't exactly rusting, but I remember seeing
something about a microwave dish w/soap & a handful of tips-

I just can't seem to re-find the post anywhere?!

Can any one help me out?

Put the tips in a microwave-safe cup or bowl and add enough water to cover all the tips completely. Add a drop of Dawn dishwashing liquid and then microwave for 1 or 2 minutes. Watch it though because it may boil over. This gets rid of all that greasiness (sp?).
