why not do a cake with a build a bear theme. You could do BCT transfers or make a few Bears out of MMF and have different outfits on the cake, or have it look someone like a dressing room for the bears.

What fun! Here's some cute bear pics...

What might be really cute is to do a bear that looks like he has stuffing going in or coming out the back. I wonder if cotton candy would work for that.

i've made a few cakes with the little 3D bear pan and put the little bear on top of cakes.....its so cute!!!! and the little pan is only $12.00 at micheals and i've used it alot!!!! plus its 3D and most people/bakeries dont do that kind of cakes....so i would think you would get more orders
good luck!
melody
check my pictures tonight, i'm going to have my husband load them for me and there will be a cake with the mini bear on top.

The bear wouldn't feed very many, the mini bear pan only takes like 1 cup of batter I think...but you could sit the bear on top of the 8" cake. That would be really cute! Congrats on the new order!

What would be cute is to have the bear look like he's wearing a pair of pj's that has the butt flap on it and have one of the buttons on the butt flap be unbuttoned. (Since it's going to be for a slumber party.)

Hi, I have one in my photos, I made it for Valentines Day for my grandson. I've seen it done in lots of different ways, it is very adaptable.
Check on eBay if you don't find it anywhere else.

When I bake him I let him cool in one half of the pan and then switch to the other half about midway to make sure the head stays on! There's a thread somewhere about "Darned Bear, anyway". Janice
