I have an order for a Dora sheet cake this Fri. The customer would like the sheet to be half choc. and half yellow...how do I do this??? Is it even possible? I was thinking to make two cakes and stick them side by side and frost it to look like one?

THAT'S WHAT I WOULD DO -- JUST ICE IN BETWEEN SO THEY WILL STAY TOGETHER

Make 2 different batters, grease and flour pan. Cut cardboard to fit straight across cake pan and tape in place with tape going to outside of pan. Slightly tilt pan and pour in one batter. Then straighten pan and pour in other batter on other side of cardboard. Remove cardboard.

You could do that but what I do is make up each batter mix and then with both hands I pour each one in the pan at the same time until they meet and fill up the pan...Works every time!!

You can do that or you can make two batters and pour in one on one side then the other on other side. I have done it that way, and I have also poured one while someone else has poured other. Of course, it is not perfectly 1/2 but still is close and looks good. Good Luck!!!
