Hi cookie bakers!!
Any ideas for the June cookie club theme?
So far suggestions have been (sorry if I missed any):
* things you see/ do realated to the beach (or lake or ocean)
* summer
* summer activities
* birthdays
* cakes
*weddings
* anything with yellow in it
any thoughts????
I like the wedding idea.. I am getting in on this months club that is for sure

the cookie club is a little voluntary thing that everyone on CC can do to show-off some of their cookie baking and decorating skills. gets your creativity a going for future bakes and what-not.

I've suggested this several times and think we should keep the "theme" more open for creativity. "Things in the sky, " "things you see, eat, or do, at the lake/ocean," gives one a larger "cookie canvas" for creativity.

No, it's still CakePrincess's baby. I'm just helping her out every other month so she wouldn't have as much to do...

I am looking forward to a decision on the June cookies. I will post more for June than I did for May. Things got hectic around here and I did not have as much time to bake. I also like the things in the sky theme, and the things you do at the beach. I also like the wedding cake ideas. Looking forward to finding out what the theme will be.
I think I'm partial to the 'things in the sky' theme myself. I like the wedding and beach themes too though!
Thank goodness for Bonnie I have either been really busy or sick. I came in today and looked @ the date and I go oh gosh it;s the end of MAY and I have not posted april cookies or even baked May cookies. I feel so awful.
I really do want To thank Bonniebakes she has really stepped in and kept things on track (i.e. Kept Zamode and her strike at bay 
)
I will be handling the month of June.
Also I have been looking at the ideas so far and I like what I see.

Thanks for the info. Defintely interested!! I have only had one order for decorated cookies. They came out okay, but I would like to experiment more.

AsharEdith Anyone can be in the club. Bonniebakes and Cake-princess can fill you in more. Zamode can fill you in too. (no more cookie strike Zamode) Be sure and make your suggestion. about what theme we should all use for the month of June.
I like the Father's Day theme too. We could make cookies that remind us of our father like something he liked, what he did, his favorite food, pastime, hobby, etc. That gives a wide range. Celebrate our dads.
I like the Father's day idea as well I was going to suggest it. However, I don't like to influence the group.
I like the idea because most of the time we usually forget about the men while decorating. This is one of the occasions when we can focus on them. Make them feel special for once LOL...
Post you ideas soon. This way we can have a theme by Saturday June 3rd.

The theme changes each month. June's theme is "fathers day." When you make your cookies, instead of posting them in your photos, attach them INSIDE of your post on the thread titled "june cookie club" (or something like that). http://www.cakecentral.com/cake-decorating-ftopict-27585.html
