i normally bake a 1/2 choc and 1/2 vanilla cake using mixes, but today i thought i would try the hersheys choc cake recipe and my regular vanilla mix for the other side. the batters where not the same consistency, the choc being very runny and the mix fairly thick, so it didn't work well, plus the choc cake sunk and the vanilla side took longer to cook, just incase anyone else wanted to try this, it doesn;t work well. stick to 2 mixes, never had a problem with them,.

I've noticed the Hershey's batter is a lot thinner. It doesn't have the same taste as it use to either. To me anyway.
Sorry to hear it didn't turn out for you.
