It looks empty. You can easily fix that by:

making the cookies different sizes

Staggering the cookies so the height difference fools the eye.

In this picture you used 4 cookies. I find for my smaller bouquets odd number of cookies look a lot better than even numbers.

Packaging makes a big impact also.

I noticed you use shredded paper and tissue. Use one or the other.

Use brighter colours. You want colors that pop. I think it's the drab shredded paper that's making it look on the dull side.

Also, I personally like to put each cookie in it's on bag and tie it with a ribbon. I do this for a number of reasons. The cookies have their own little environment they will not be absorbing flavors from outside. They dont dry out as fast. They Are protected from dirty hands and people breathing all over them. In addition each cookie becomes it's own individual gift that the cookie bouquet recipient can share with others.

Cake_Princess of course has great tips. I have always read in most things decorated, odd numbers are always more pleasing to the eye. As for your cookies themselves, they look great and sound even better! Yum!! Great combination. I would love to decorate with chocolate but I'm too afraid I'd ruin the whole batch. You are off to a fine start.

I think it would look more full if you push the two outside cookies down into the pot more so that they are between the two in the middle. Also, i like to fill the space with stuff. curling ribbon does wonders for things like this, also, tulle puffs can be used.

Tulle is the netting-like fabric used in TuTus (that ballerinas wear). You bunch it up and poof it up a bit. icon_wink.gif

Your cookies look great.I do wrap my cookie sticks with florist tape and even add a silk leaf to the stem.I too,bag my cookies and tie with ribbon.I use the shreds..sometime I buy and sometime make my own by running wrapping paper through the shredder.Never throw out paper it comes in handy for all kinds of projects.I most often add tissue paper and then place all in a decorated pot.Placing all this in a big clear bag..from the $ tree tied with a big ribbon bow and a little card.Even add the recipe at times.Take a look at on-line sites that sell cookie boquets.Great ideas there.
