I'm thinking about building one out of gingerbread.
The 2004 and 2005 Wilton books have some great haunted house ideas.
Hi Ladies,
I don't have a house pan. I was thinking using regular rectangular pans. thanks for your inputs.
I made the one in the 2005 wilton yearbook and it took me a week to do it. I have another one due on the 30th of the month. The first turned out ok, but this one will be even better!!!
It was fun and a GREAT learning experience for someone who has not taken any classes as of yet.
I also did the haunted house cake out of the 3D house pan....it was small for work. I can send a picture if you like.

Wow! Good for you! I want to try that house too, just not sure that I will have time or find all of the materials. I might have to wait until next year.
have you posted the picture in the gallery?

hi, i did a cake for a girl scout happoween party that fits in the haunted house/cemetary theme. i posted it in the hal;loween section of this site. it was a very large cake but i'm sure you could trim it down. i used the small ginger bread house kit from wilton for the actual house on the cake. .....hope this helps a little.... have fun....
