I believe the paste is equal amounts of meringue powder and water. It's in one of the Wilton yearbook's recipe section.
Are you looking for the paste you make to use as an adhesive for gum paste flowers? Just use equal parts of water and meringue powder.
And Congrats on your "Blessed" news....
Christy, Congrats.
Can't help with your question.
Try to be always happy and take care.

Christy-
Is it the "Paste" that hardens, like royal icing? I know you can use royal icing to "Glue" things onto the cake. It also will harden when you make flowers. Do you know what book it was in and what the purpose of the "paste" was for?
Also, congratulations on the exciting news!
