I've gotten a lot of compliments on the Noah's Ark cake (in my photos) from non-cake decorators and I'm really curious of what you talented CC'ers really think. Please let me know!

Thank you for your opinion! icon_biggrin.gif

WOW!! I don't know if I'm qualified to critique since I'm so new to this, but that cake is awesome!! One question for the newbie, what is mmf?

How did you get your animals so shiny? They look plastic! Great job!

Great job. How did you get the cake so shiny? It looks, well like kbochick said, like plastic.

mcjohnson7-mmf is Marshmallow Fondant. There are a few recipes for it in the recipe section. A lot of our CCers prefer this to any other fondant as it is simple and inexpensive to make.

The cake is VERY cute-with the new gallery I didn't see where I could leave a comment, so I had to come back and tell you here! The animals are just terrific!

Thank you everyone for the very sweet comments. I don't really know why the fondant is so shiny. icon_biggrin.gif I think it's due to the humidity hear in Houston. Sorry, that's not really the best answer. Thank you all again for the kind words. icon_smile.gif

You did a wonderful job. I looked at it in the gallery. We can't leave comments at the moment, so I am happy to have the chance to tell you.
