I know I saw it on here somewhere but I can't find it!!!

I have to get a cake in the oven within the next hour and I am in a panic!!!

I am using a 12 inch round pan which I need to make very tall!! (w/o using 2 pans)

I do not know how many cake mixes to put in a 12 inch pan so I am going to put 3.

This is why I need to make the pan taller!
I can't have another overflow!!

Help!!

Here is the link for collaring.

Just did it for a MD cake and it worked great. It was a 9" torted with raspberry filling and it gave me great layers that were not too thin.
