Hi everyone:
I am in desperate need to come up with an idea about making a birthday cake for three co-workers (2 females and one male). Any ideas please besides roses.

Maybe think in themes - flavors in common (chocolate), what type of work do they do?

Or you can also get a common theme from the occassion (do they share a birthday)

Think up some popular cartoon characters that are two females and one male. Maybe Homer and Marge and Lisa Simpson. Maybe Fred and Wilma and Betty.

You could do stripes on the sides, or polka dots, or other kinds of abstract funky designs. You could do the base icing or fondant in a light green, blue, or purple, and the designs in a deeper shade of the same color. Just trying to think of stuff that isn't "man" or "woman" specific! I bet you'll think of something cool, either with colors or perhaps something related to the type of work they do.
