I am going to be making a calke for my daughter's 4th b-day and I want to try using Fondant, however I've never used it before and I have no idea where to buy it - or do you make it? HELP!

Fondant is easy to make, and you can buy it ready-made (just don't buy wilton it tastes yucky)

there is a recipe in the forum for marshmallow fondant and there are a couple of other recipes at Baking911

the better purchased brands are Satin Ice, Choco-pan, and Pettinice
They have them at Sur la Table and many cake decorating supply stores as well as on line.

It can be tricky. You can practice (if you work quickly) on an inverted cake pan. Then you can peel it off and do it over. Be sure to re-wrap it very well for storage.
