I have a customer that wants the large size book pan done like a bible, but she has it in her head that she wants it on top of another (sheet) cake, tilted up like the bible is on a podium. Does anybody have ANY ideas if/how this could be done?

Well, you could use a 6" round cake and cut it on an angle and put that under the book. Or you could use a dummy cake and cut that and cover it in fondant or something.

I would think you could put the book cake on a cake board and then put thee wedges underneath to 'prop' it up on the sheet cake (one at or near each and and one in the center), just dowel the sheet cake so the wedges don't dig in...good luck!

Thanks for the great ideas, will have to tuck this one away as I am sure my church will be asking for a bible cake some time soon. Best of luck.
