Hi Ladies,

I am very new to this and I LOVE IT ALREADY!!! I am hooked. Thank god I found it though because it has answered ALOT of questions for me just by reading the forum. Anyway, I am making a Nemo cake and I am having trouble getting the color orange to be bright and look like Nemo. Any suggestions???

If you don't get any replies here, what you can do is a search of Nemo in the galleries. When you find something the color you are looking for, send a pm (private message) to the person who made the cake and ask them about how to make the color.

I have found that this website is full of the most amazing helpful people!

It just may be that the person who is able to help you might not see your post. That's why pm is a great tool!

Watch out, though, this site is totally addictive. icon_wink.gif

Just go find the brightest orange color you can buy and keep adding it until you get the right color. Keep in mind that buttercream darkens as it dries! thumbs_up.gif I think I used Sunset Orange.

I have some fish cookies in my pictures. Not sure if this is the color that you are looking for. I just used the wilton orange and added quite a abit to it. Let it sit for a while and it will change. Good luck
