Hey all. I am searching for a way to do sugared roses more quickly. Can I put meringue powder that has been thinned with water and totally dissolved into my airbrush and just spray the flowers and then sprinkle with superfine sugar??

Also: any tips on getting them to dry? I now that when I've done these before, the egg white was so liquidy that I had to hang them upside down with clothespins and they would drip everywhere. I wonder if the airbrush would eliminate this because it would be a finer spray??

I was also wondering if I could using sanding crystals or edible glitter instead of superfine sugar. I think the glitter would add a neat touch but am not sure if it would be melted by the liquid. Or would it be too large of a look instead of that tiny granulated look.

Any thougths?? Thanks in advance. thumbs_up.gif

Sorry I don't really have an answer for you, but I do know you can crush up your edible glitter if you want to make it smaller. Just use the back of a spatula or something (the handle part I mean) and crush away.
