LOVE...LOVE...LOVE...UM!!!
all4cake---I don't have the patience to make those either.
They're amazing!!! If someone needed them for a cake would you be willing to ship them???
Thanks for the encouraging comments.
As for how long this took - not quite sure - baby probably took over 2 hours. I was going to keep track this time - but as always I was multi tasking - house work, phone call interuptions, etc. Then the time trying to brain storm how to do each part - usually takes a while for the light bulb to go off
The rocking horse is taking longer - but just because of drying time. Using my experience as a wood worker and making the rocking horse out of piece of gum paste (wood) like you would a real rocking horse.
The lady that order this - does not know that I am doing 3-D figures - she thinks I'm doing a flat image on the top of the cake. But I wanted it to get out that I can do this kind of work in our area - no one else really does this kind of work around here.

LOL I hate to say this but I probably won't be able to do this again - or atleast it wouldn't look the same. I'd be so afraid to ship something like this. But if I can do this - I know anyone can - just do like I did and take the plunge. One thing about fondant and gum paste - if it don't look right - just smash it up and start again
