I'm making my dh a hunting cake next weekend with a four wheeler on it. The only four wheeler I could find was red, and he has an orange four wheeler. I was thinking about putting icing on the four wheeler. Has anyone done this?

First, I was thinking about orange icing, but now I'm leaning more towards camo since there will also be a hunter & deer on it.

I will also be making a "trail" for the four wheeler, and I thought about writing something like "33 points" in it...since he'll be 33.

Any thoughts or ideas?

I don't think you'd have a problem at all icing the 4 wheeler! The icing would wash off easily in hot water and Dawn dish soap too! I like the camo idea=o) I say go for it!!!

Hi there ellyrae!

I was kinda going for camo b/c it would kinda blend in with the cake...camo/grass, etc.

And, I thought the 33 points was a cute way of bringing up his age, although he still does not like being inthe 30's, lol....I don't know~Ihaven't got there yet!

Well lucky you!!! LOL. You know, the 30's are actually GREAT! It hasn't been "THAT" long since I saw a 3 as the first number in my age!!!! LOL

I think the 33 points is a great idea!!! More grass huh??? hee hee Can't wait to see this cake!!!
