I am trying to get more buisness and go more to the wwedding industry. I have buisness cards made uo but I know I have to be carefull because of regulations. Has any one had success in doing this or any suggestions would be great. Any other decorators that might be intrested in using eachother as referals if you are actually booked for that date. Look foward to hearing from you. icon_surprised.gif

Hi,
I am a decorator in the wylie, tx area. I started from word of mouth. I gave out flyers in my immediate area. I too, am trying to be really careful about the formalities and such. It seems that now, my name is getting around. about 75% of my business is weddings. I have a website, this really helps brides feel more confident in booking with me.
you could look around your area for a wedding co-ordinator, that mayve you could hook up with. Take some samples to places like Mikasa, small event locals. They ususally respond well and remember you once they have met and tasted your cakes.

Let me know if I can help in any other way.

Best of luck
Dawn
