Hello All !!

How Much would you charge for this Snake Cake ?? Also, Please critique, I would like any opinions about this cake yo wish to throw my way !! It is vanilla cake with buttercream and is about 3 feet long.

Many thanks to those whose ideas I used to make this cake !! I gleened ideas from several and can't remember who, so that I can name you. So just know that if it looks like your idea or technique was used, I thank you.

I usually take all my ingredients to make the cake and times it by 3. That will give you a good estimate. If it is for friends/family then go lower.

Cute cake BTW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great job on the colors and shape.

How many servings is this cake? I typically charge by the serving.

He is so cute. I would also say in the $75.00 range. It looks like a lot of work went into this cake.

I charged $140 for a cake that was 3ftX2ft. Just to give an idea of what I charged. It served 200 people

Thanks, jo_ann & jennrick1. 75.00 was what I was thinking. he is only about 4 to 5 inches wide, so I feel that I shouldn't ask above 100 , but thank you for the base idea jennrick1 !! I will use that in the futer if I ever go larger.

I usually don't go below $3/serving for 3D or shaped cakes. Sometimes if its a 3D on top of a sheet cake, the net serving cost will be under that, but if the whole cake is 3D, I charge at least $3/serving for buttercream iced 3D stuff.
