I would say white or even a light blue would look nice behind peach flowers.

I vote for ivory - with pale moss green leaves.

Hmmmmm....may have to try that on my next practice cake!

Hi all!

I have to vote for ivory or a very very pale yellow, use avacodo (amerigel color) or juniper green for the leaves. I think that it would be just gorgeous.

Good luck
looking forward to seeing the finished product.

Bestest,
dawn

How about a very light pale moss green background with peach flowers and darker moss green leafs?? Could add ivory accent flowers or dots, or scrolls.........I could keep going!!!

What ever you do, it'll be beautiful and HOW NICE of you to do something sweet and giving like this!!!

Thanks everyone for your help . I made a practice cake today just to try out the peach americolor it is so pretty. I went with a white icing and peach roses, it turned out really pretty I think I will go with the pale yellow for the cake I take to the eye clinic. By the way I used the whipped cream buttercream recipe here on CC and I really do like it, it is not to sweet and so fluffy . I dont have a working scanner so I will post all of my previous work when I get one. All of my pictures have been taken with a Polaroid camera so I dont know how good the pictures will show up if anyone has posted Polaroid pictures on the gallery I would like to know how good the pictures show up. Saving up for a good digital camera and new computer . Like so many others I have learned more from CC than any other source . Everyone is always ready to give a tip or advice or to help so this is the perfect place for a newbie like me or anyone who is trying to learn thanks again to everyone .

I just tried the peach, green and ivory scheme and posted it in my pix. I needed to practice my roses (obviously) anyway. I like this color mix.

Thanks loads.

I thought the peach was a little garish. But, I was in over my head and couldn't back out. icon_smile.gif I would have preferred a lighter peach...maybe shaded deeper in the center of the flowers. That's a color that goes too intense too quicly - kind of like yellows. But, I did like the combnation. I wasn't sure about the green background until the very end, when it all came together. Funny how that happens....

Looking forward to seeing the original poster's version.
