8, 6, 4 In Tiered Cake Help!!!

I'm making my first topsy turvy cake for a bridal shower. They want a fun cake but for only 30 people. I plan on making an 8, 6 and 4 in. cake. I was searching for a cake similar to look at (in the gallery) but nobody really puts the size of the cake with the pictures. I just want to double check that these sizes will look ok together. I've seen cakes that don't (it's hard to explain) have much of a difference, it looks like one cake is the same size as the one below it.
What do you think? Does anyone have any pictures to show with the sizes? If you don't want to put pictures on this thread, you can explain your photo and I'll just look in your personal photo galllery. I'd like to know what different ratios look like.
Thank you very much!
Steph
Did you try and PM one of the decorators who have photos of them in their gallery? Everyone on this site is soo friendly and helpful, I would be someone could help. Bump.
What are the sizes of your cake in your gallery? It's very pretty by the way. I love the sea shells.
Thanks for your advice.

here you go here is one that is a 4,6,and 8" stacked.......that should give you an idea of how well they look together!!
I can't help you with your question, but I have one of my own. Where on earth did you find a 4" round pan. I have looked at Micheals and Walmart, but the smallest they have is 6" (I have the wilton pans) I would love to make one of those topsy turvy cakes but don't need a huge one.
I haven't bought it yet, but I've seen them at my local JoAnn's.
Thanks KHalstead. I tried a search, but nothing came up. It looks wonderful. I thinks that's what I'm going to do, but a topsy one.
Thanks!
I have done a few whimsy type cakes and I don't really like to do them smaller than a 6 on top.. I might try a 5 but the 4 is so small. You can do a two tiered one as well. I have done those too.
