I "think" I know the answer, but am doubting myself on this. So...

My question about cheesecake is:

I am to make 3 cheesecakes next week (needs to be delivered on Friday; Cinco de Mayo) and would like to make at least 1 a few days in advanced.

Do you think by making it about 2 days in advance it would change the taste or the look of it? I would decorate it the morning I have to deliver them.

Just doubting myself with the answer I have.....

TIA

I have found with cheescake that if refrigerated they actually taste better a couple days old than they do when you first make them.

I agree with Euphoria........I wouldn't serve a cheesecake the same day I made it...they're always better after a day or two..or three...if you're putting a fruit topping or something you may want to hold off until the day before but other than that...definitely make it in advance.

excellent idea!

I do have 'free time' on Tuesday to make these, even a little 'free time' on Wednesday. I know it takes a day to set.

I plan on making one with a frozen blueberry topping (thawed of course), and then a plain cheesecake (nothing but whipped topping for decor) and then a chocolate mint meringue.

The choc mint meringue one is the one I'm a bit worried about. That one I will probably make Wednesday....

Thanks again you two!
