HI there,
I recently had a gal ask me for a marble or yellow cake with "raspberry sauce" through out. Do you guys have any idea how to do this? I suggested filling, but she said she had one that had the "sauce" through out. If anyone can help that would be great! Thanks!! icon_redface.gif

maybe use a raspberry preserve and put globs of it in the cake batter, like you would with a fudge marble cake and swirl it around with a knife....I have never tried it personally!! Sounds gorgeous and tasty though.

How about poking holes in the cake once it has cooled some and heating your rasberry filling or rasberry jelly and pouring it over the cake so that it can soak in ...kind of like a jello cake....and then frosting it.

Cheers,
Shirley

put your raspberry filling or sauce in a pastry bag with a bismark tip. Poke the tip down into your cake every 2 inches and squirt in the raspberry like you're filling a jelly doughnut.
