My BIL wants a 3-D Duke Blue Devil head for his grooms cake. I am making the other 2 cakes right now (3 tiered stand), but I still can't figure out how to do the devil. I'm thinking maybe the ball pan on a 6" carved? Help!!!

How about a nice UNC ram instead?

I don't know how I'd go about doing just the head...but on cindascreativecakes.com, she has the entire blue devil--looks like the teddy bear pan was used. Look in her sports section. Maybe he would like a variation of this?

wow... i just checked out cindascreativecakes.com ... and I am DEFINATELY going to try making a UNC basketball court for my boyfriends birthday this July.... he would love it (as you can tell by the picture from the DUKE/CAROLINA game... we are big UNC fans!!)... and coolmom that definately looks like the teddy bear cake pan so I am pretty sure thats the best (And easiest) way to go! good luck with that looking forward to pics!
