I followed the caramel recipe, and am making it tonight! Now, my fiance is asking for butterscotch. Any ideas for this one??? Thanks!

Also, making a quick chocolate cake to put the caramel on. Can you add something to canned chocolate frosting to make decorations with it?

Thanks!

Nichole

you can add powdered sugar to canned frosting to make it pipeable!!! Not sure if that's a word........anyhow....here is a recipe for butterscotch frosting.....i'm sure if it's not thick enough to pipe with you could add more powdered sugar to it too..

the lorann oil butterscotch flavor adds a yummy flavor to bc. i have seen it at walmart, michaels, and other places that have cake supplies.
