Just wondering if anyone out there who has made these if the top of the box is made of cake or not. I want to try it, but want to do it correctly. TIA, Lisa

I think I saw someone post about this before, but I can't remember the whole thing. I will see if I can find the post.

I found a picture of one in another thread. PM the person and ask if they can share the instructions. The top of the box is cake.

Hi Spottydog,
I have been storing up info ready to make my first box cake too! The ones that have cake for the roof place it on a board of the same size and prop it up with dowels pushed down into the bottom cake and standing up with the cake board sitting on that and in one case used lollipop sticks. Some others have made the roof of rice crispie treats.
