I know that this is often a sensitive subject icon_razz.gif But I only have margarine in the house and can't get out to the store today. Can I substitute butter or margarine? I only have a small amount of butter left and the rest margarine... HELP!!!

I don't think you will have too much of a problem. Butter makes them softer and you have to chill the dough in order to keep them from spreading. Margararine does less of that because it is a chemical. But they are reasonably interchangable.
Good luck
