I'm looking for a yummy raspberry buttercream recipe. I used one off of a site before (cakelady.com maybe?) and it was ok, but waaaay too buttery for me, it tasted like raspberry flavored butter. Anyone have any they like?

I just use my regular buttercream recipe and add some raspberry puree to it. I blend up fresh raspberries and strain out the seeds to make the puree. It's very very good and so simple.

does the puree keep well? i use crisco buttercream, and i haven't been refridgerating it. would the puree be fine in that buttercream outside the fridge?
