Can you put chocolate bc under white fondant? For bc under fondant, how thick do you put on the bc?
Thank-You,

I have never done it but I would imagine that your fondant would have to be thicker so your BC did not show thru. you dont need to put your BC on thick at all if you don't want too - just enough so your fondant sticks. I like to put my BC on thick - like I was icing a regular cake, then smooth it. I think it makes the fondant look much smoother. Sorry I am not much of help to you....someone can answer your question though - I am sure icon_smile.gif

I just answered this and the page could not be displayed! icon_cry.gif Yes, you can put fondant over chocolate BC, but it will show through. As for how thick to put it on, crumb coat, chill, then crumb coat again so you cannot see the cake. Any more than that will smoosh out under the fondant.icon_confused.gif
