I'm making a cake for Sat and the filling is going to be Pastry Pride and fresh strawberries. Can I leave that out over night? Will the strawberries be bad if I fill the cakes now?

not sure what your filling is. anything that needs to be refridgerated obviously needs to be. I would think if the strawberries are in the filling, there fore sealed, they would be ok. just my humble opinion though.

I always refridgerate fresh strawberries. They'll get yucky on you if you leave them out!

The filling is just pastry pride with cut up fresh strawberries mixed in. It's a strawberries and cream cake.

This is going to be a big cake. More like a wedding cake size then an 8th birthday party cake.

I guess I will just have to find room somehow in my refrigerator. I so need another one just for cakes!

I would refrigerate also...Better safe than sorry!!!
I hear you about fridge space-I just bought my 2nd fridge to put in the garage, to have room to store everything! My hubby said that I took over his only room in the house...Sorry honey! icon_lol.gif
