There are so many variations of a colour, sometimes you need to have a sample of whatever it is you are trying to match up. I find that it can be a very deep orangey colour or have a hint of a pink colour to it. Do you have a sample to go by?

In my cake class, someone came in with the most beautiful shade of coral icing... when I asked her how she made it, she said she used Wilton Christmas Red in a small dose. I have never tried it but I will when I need coral! Good Luck.
