Is finally starting to feel better. After over 3 weeks--it appears that she may have turned the corner.

She has to go in again tomorrow for another recheck and see if they are clearing, but she actually slept through the night (read: allowed ME to sleep!) for the past 2 nights!

I feel "almost" like a new woman!

I am so glad that your baby is doing better, Lisa. I know how painful-for you and her-those things can be. Hopefully now you can also get some well deserved rest!! Take care!

I have a 2 year old with a ear infection AND tonsils swollen and infected. She goes back tomorrow to see what we will need to do. She is in soooooo much pain icon_cry.gif She won't eat or drink. All she wants to do is sleep. Never thought I would complain about her sleeping too much.

Wow! My princess has an ear infection too! We just found out at the doctor today, when I took her in for her first year shots. I feal like the worst mother in the world that I didn't know. icon_cry.gif Sure, she has been getting up every now and then in the middle of the night, I thought it was just teething... boy do I feel bad. She has been acting a little sick, but she had a runny nose, so I figured it was just a virus. icon_redface.gif Well, we started the antibiotics today, so we shall see some improvement soon I hope! Good luck with your little one.

Don't feel bad. That happened to me with Sarah, too. I only took her because she had a cough and I wanted them to listen to her lungs. The ped looked in her ear and said, "Wow! That must really hurt!" I felt like the worst mother in the world! She gave me no indication that it was her ears at all. I had no idea. This is her first ear infection (she's 21 months old) and it just won't quit. As a matter of fact, she was just up again crying, pointing to her ear and saying "ear hurt". Poor baby! I feel so bad!

Hopefully your little one will feel better soon!

Oh, and btw, I'm in Shelby Twp, MI! We really aren't "that" far away from each other!

I hope your babies are feeling better!! It used to kill me when mine were sick. With babies they cry for so many different reasons & we can't always pin point it. So don't feel bad about not knowing what was wrong. You took them to the dr. that's all that counts! thumbs_up.gif Blessings to you & your babies~

Just had to add that my little princess has an ear infection too!! Actually a double ear infection and a sinus infection on top of it! She's on a double dose of antibiotics for 20 days. She never really felt that bad though so we've been lucky. Poor babies....
