O.K. the cake is 4 tiered square with alternating dimond and scroll design on the tiers. They want a monogram somewhere on the side of the cake and I'm wondering if I should put it on a diamond shaped base? What do you all think?? I'm wondering what shape to put the monogram on (to clarify). Thanks.

Do you have an option to make a monogram cake topper(maybe made out of RI)? But if the side is a must I think I would like it on the bottom tier.JMHO.

Unfortunatelly I can't put it on top because they want a bow topper (I would rather make the RI monogram than all those bow loops!) I think you're right about the bottom tier. That will have the diamond pattern on it so do you think the monogram shape to put the actuall letters on should be diamond shape as well? I usuall see them on an oval base but since everything on this cake is square, I didn't know what would look the best.
