Do you use coffee or the chocolate liquor? I don't drink coffee or chocolate liquor so I need some help. I am not opposed to buying the chocolate liquor if need be.......any thoughts/suggestions/substitutions?

TIA,
Suz

Maybe you could use vanilla? Or chocolate essence?
I have not tried that recipe so I don't know if substitutions will work.....

Antonia posted that she substitutes the coffee with 2 tsp. of vanilla, which is what I did, they came out fine.

I've also used the instant "coffee" (made into a liquid).... like the General Foods french vanilla cafe (or whatever flavors you want)... works GREAT and adds a little bit of another flavor, too.
